Oerol (Dutch pronunciation:) is a cultural festival on the island of Terschelling in the Netherlands that is held annually in June. The ten-day festival is focused on live, public theatre as well as music and visual arts. This festival was founded in 1981 by Joop Mulder, then owner of café De Stoep in Midsland.

Oerol op Terschelling is één van de grootste locatietheaterfestivals van Europa. In 1982 begonnen als klein straattheater festival is het uitgegroeid tot een divers cultureel festival met zo'n 55.000 bezoekers per jaar. Er is nog steeds straattheater te zien, maar het accent is verschoven naar locatietheater, muziek en beeldende kunst.

Mulder organized monthly concerts accompanied by poetry, theater, and visual arts and, in June 1982, he created the first Oerol street festival.
